Mac outlook - reply in same window

Hi all,

Coming back to outlook after some time off, and starting with a mac. For the life of me I can not work out to reply in the same window. Every time I reply it takes me into a new window... any help?

Also when using the web based app - I am able to set my shortcuts to the gmail shortcuts, any possibility to do the same on the desktop app?

    thanks for this - it addressed most my problems.

    Things like delayed sending - ie. undo sent mail, is that possible from the new outlook>?

    Regarding your concern, please check if you haven't turned on the New Outlook. The feature Nested compose in the Reading Pane in the New Outlook for Mac enables users to reply to messages without opening a new compose window. Select Reply, Reply All, or Forward in the Reading Pane, Toolbar, or Message menu or use keyboard shortcuts Command+R, Shift+Command+R, or Command+J. See The new Outlook for Mac (microsoft.com).
