Problem with error reports when sending bulk email with outlook.com.

Send bulk email with outlook.com to my university class through university server.  Error reports do not include email addresses of undelivered email.  Have another email account which does provide email addresses of undelivered email in error reports.   Do not understand why Outlook.com does not do the same.  Email addresses are necessary to remove bad email addresses from mailing list.

Am attempting switch email account to ourlook.com for a variety of reasons but cannot until issue is resolved

You are right. We need to know the undelivered email addresses to remove them from the distribution list. The notification should come back with a message saying this:

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'email address' on <date and time>

Are you just receiving undelivered notification without the body of the email?

I wonder if you can take a screenshot of it so we can better assist you.

    Sincerely yours,

Have several hundred people in mailing list.  Only way to freshen mailing list is identify undelivered email addresses for removal from the mailing list.

    Hi JimKeblinger,

I'm Karen, a Microsoft user like you. I'm sorry to hear that an error message displays everytime you send a bulk email. Let me try to help you. Just to set your expectations, this is a public forum and we do not work for Microsoft nor have access to any user accounts. We can only offer advice based on our knowledge and resources available from Microsoft.

The error message could be due to the sending server trying to deliver the message but the action didn't complete before the message expired. This error typically indicates a problem on the receiving server.

Make sure the recipient address is valid. If they are reduce the number of recipients in the message.
