Change primary alias before next week

I'm trying to stop the unsuccessful Automatic Sync attempts to my account, but in order to do this I need to set my primary alias to a different alias. Unfortunately I've already done this twice I think, and any further attempts are met with the message:

We limit how frequently you can change your primary alias. Try again next week.

Is there any way of curtailing the wait period, such as contacting security or support? I am quite desperate to change my primary alias again before next week.
