HI

About 10 days ago I stopped receiving verification emails from multiple sites through outlook. I contacted the providers and they confirmed they are being sent- one said its system received a spam block notification. I have checked all my system settings and cannot work out what is happening. This is causing a major business disruption, can anyone help

    Hi

Thank you for trying to help but this is not the problem I have already been through all of this before I posted.

The emails are simply not getting through this far. This is why the automated systems are receiving a block response. These systems are difficult to follow up with and most people on the phone are simply user help and do not have access to back of house to provide any details. All they can see is that their system sent the message, but outlook didn't receive it. I now have 4 systems in this category- a Superannuation Fund, an online reporting tool, a document management system and an email authenticator. Basically, any system that wants to email me a verification code is blocked by outlook. I also do not get them through the web version of outlook, but I can get the codes if they are sent to my gmail.

I really need a solution for this

    Clare

Would it be possible for the provider to send you that spam block notification so you can post it here? It likely has some important clues that would help. Thanks!

    Hi ClareinDarwin,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft community.

Regarding your concern, please check in your Junk Email folder if there are those verification emails. If there's any and you trust the sender/source, you may manually mark it as Not Junk. You can also submit false-positives to Microsoft. See Report false positives and false negatives in Outlook - Office 365 | Microsoft Docs.

From the senders' side, if they fail to send the verification email, they should receive the non-delivery report (NDR) which may explain the reason of the failed delivery. Check Email non-delivery reports in Exchange Online | Microsoft Docs. You may check if you are able to avoid those factors from both sides (senders' or recipients').

Hope it helps! If any update, welcome to share with us.

    Thanks & Stay safe,

    Qian
