FSLogix Cloud Cache - CacheDirectory stored on temp disk on Azure VMs

Hi

Has anyone been using FSLogix Cloud cache and storing the CacheDirectory on a temporary disk on a Azure VM?
Let's say I'm setting up Azure Virtual Desktop, with profile containers in Azure files, would I get better performance on the cloud cache if the cache directory is placed on temp disk instead of the os disk? And would there be a problem down the line with this configuration?
For this example lets say we have 4 session hosts in a pool with aprox 100 users, and ClearCacheOnLogoff is set to 1, so the cache is read on each user signin.

Thank you for taking the time to read my question.

/Gisle

    Hello @Gisle Soterud ,

    Thanks for your query.

It is ok to store the CacheDirectory on a temporary disk of Azure VM, which will provide better performance.
You must make sure that the temp drive is large enough for the cloud cache, but other than that, it is fine.

    Best regards,
    Leila
