If I cut and paste text into an Outlook message, the word after the text I've pasted automatically gets capitalized.  Has anyone run into this and found a solution?

This has been driving me nuts too.  However, un-checking "Capitalize first letter of sentences" under File->Options->Mail->Editor Options->Proofing->AutoCorrect Options seems to have fixed this issue for me.  Source

Jason:  I thought the Keep Text Only option had solved the problem but it did not.  Whenever I paste anything into Outlook the word after the pasted text is always capitalized.  It's very frustrating.  I tried the options listed above in the reply of March 27th but nothing seemed to work.

Hi, changing all 4 options to "Keep Text Only" did NOT solve this for me. This behavior is a regression. I started noticing it about a day or two ago. It's driving me crazy. I write a lot of code, and therefore copy/paste single-word phrases into my emails very frequently.

And I often like keeping the source formatting anyway, so Keep Text Only" wouldn't be a good solution for me, even if it did fix this problem.

Thank you.  That seemed to correct the problem.

    Hi Mark,

As far as I know, when paste the text to Outlook, by default it will keep source formatting. You can go to File > Options > Mail > Editor Options > Cut, copy, and paste to check if it's Keep Source Formatting.

If it's already Keep Source Formatting, you can change it to Keep Text Only to check if it helps. For your reference, see Outlook advanced editing options.

While if the issue persists, please capture a screenshot of your Outlook client version via File > Office Account > Product Information for us.

    Regards,

    Marvin
