Customizing Contact Design Forms

Have Outlook 2016. Great tool. Using with Google Suite server. Two issues.

How to add 4-5 custom fields to the "primary" Contact Design Form. Want to run reports off one of these custom fields and send small email blasts based upon custom field criteria. Was able to create a "modified" version of existing primary contact but view is different. This modified contact version seems only to work on newly created contacts. Is there a way to add these newly created fields to all current contacts?

Thank you.

Hello nTk64

A general article on the creation of Outlook custom forms is

Create an Outlook Form

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/out...

A couple of things you should keep in mind

#1 - When you change the first page of the standard contact form, it reverts to the older style of form which is what I'm assuming you're referring to in terms of "the view is different"

#2 - Realize that you cannot import or export any user-defined fields whether added to a custom form or added as fields in general

#3 - As you noted, when you set a newly created custom form, it only applies for newly created contacts. You will need to change the message class for all existing contacts to the name of the new form. A free utility to do that is below provided you are using the 32bit version of Office

DocMsgClass
