Edit recurrent event from current date forward

Hello - is there a way to edit a recurring event from the current date forward from the *desktop* Outlook app.  I googled it, and it looks like there's a workaround by using the Apple Outlook app, but that's not possible for me.

Microsoft - if this feature is not possible, PLEASE add it.  It's absurd to offer a robust calendaring app without this option.  We use Outlook calendars for staffing, and I need to be able to update recurring events going forward *without* overwriting previous events.

No, these don't solve my problem.  If I have a recurring event that runs from 10-1-19 through 3-1-20, for example, and I have a change I need to make for *only* 12-11-19 through the end of the recurring event, I would like to have a way to edit all the events from 12-11-19 on without editing any of the events previous to 12-10-19.  So, as I said, I would like to edit a recurring event from only the current date forward.  Right now, it appears that I can only all instances of the event, *including* dates that have already occurred, which overwrites our staffing calendar rendering it useless.

I've uploaded a screen shot of my personal google calendar with an example of what I would like - there are options to edit only the current event, the entire series, or *only* the current event and all subsequent events in the series.  This doesn't seem to be addressed in either of the articles you've linked me to, which I had already read before posting this question.  If there is a way to do this, I would love to know how.  If this is not an option, I believe it should be added, as I consider it to be a base-level expectation for a robust calendaring program.

    Hi Marisa,

There are articles that you can check to know more information about how you can edit recurrent events, depending on the app that you are trying to use. I suggest that you check the following:

Take note that you can't change the details for meetings or events other people have invited you.

Let us know if you are using other email app to access or change recurring event.

We are looking forward to your response.
