Sudden Outlook Error

Without warning Outlook suddenly would not open any new emails from the server. It said I was using an old .ost file and said it needed to be deleted so that a new one could be automatically created. When I deleted the .ost file it gave me a new error stating:

"Cannot expand the folder. The set of folders cannot be opened. The outlook data file C:\gibberish cannot be used in this profile. Outlook currently delivers items into an Outlook 97-2002 data file, which does not support multilingual Unicode data. To correct this, change the delivery location to one that supports multilingual Unicode data."

I have NO idea what this means.

I'm sorry that didn't work. I'm seeing other recommendations to remove the User Account altogether and to start from scratch. I don't know if this would resolve your problem, but it may be useful.

et me know if there is anything specific I can help with.

    Warm Regards,

    Joe

Sadly none of that worked. I found the .ost file but I still get this weird error.
