Contacts aren't exporting

My Outlook is sick. Really sick.  So i was going to save the contacts to a CSV file and reload it.  However, when I try to export the contacts, I I get a file that says icloudcontacts.csv and it only contains 6 names of the several hundred I have.  HELP!

Anyone have an idea where this file could be hidden?

    I'm sorry for the trouble you are experiencing. I appreciate your patience in this matter.

    It seems to be that it's trying to export iCloud contacts only.

    Can you check the article below and confirm that you are following all the steps?

    If this is not working, can you please check if you can follow the steps to export Contacts from Office 365 on the web:

    Note: The last link is a non-Microsoft website. The page appears to be providing accurate, safe information. Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

    I appreciate your help.  Thank you.

    It is Outlook from the current Microsoft 365.  Running on Windows 10 Pro.

    It was synced to iCloud once but no longers does that.  The Outlook program is acting very weird and repairing it hasn't worked.  So I was going to replace it; hence the desire to export my contacts.  I get a file that says iCloud contacts when I do and has only six names in it.   My Outlook contacts has several hundred that I can see in Outlook but that I can't export.

    • What is your operating system?
    • Are your contacts synchronized with iCloud? If so, what is the number of contacts in iCloud?
