I did a reset on my outlook account on my computer and it has stopped syncing my mails ever since

I can't seem to find my sent items, draft, junk, spam and archive folders

I receive mails on my phone but I can't receive on my laptop

Another issue I have is trying to get my Windows 10 Mail to sync

The inbox is empty and I can't receive mails

I sent an email from Windows 10 mail for outlook and i can't find it on my phone sent items

    Greetings

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    Please let me know what account you're using in your Outlook? ( Exchange/IMAP/POP).

    At the bottom of your Outlook please check what the status bar says.

    Please make sure Outlook is not set to Offline mode, by navigating to send/receive tab, if it's set to Offline, please click on it to turn it ff, then observe.

    You may also try to disable cached mode to see if Outlook still doesn't sync, to do so please navigate to file> Account settings> account settings> double click on email account , then on the window that pops up disable cached mode click on next, then restart Outlook.

    If the above suggestions don't work, then please try to run an a repai on Outlook, you may refer to Repair an Office application (microsoft.com)

    Lastly you may also refer to the solutions in Synchronization problems occur in Outlook and in Outlook Web App (microsoft.com)

    Hi Momo

    Thanks for your prompt response

    I use an IMAP and its online however I noticed the problem started when I hit repair and the message says "We couldn't find the incoming IMAP server. Please check the incoming IMAP server name in account settings and try again.

    Then I hit reset and the sync issue started, I can't find my sent item folder, draft, archive, spam and junk.

    There's a subfolder that shows Local Failure(This Computer Only)

    Hi Ebejiwa

    Apologies for the late response.

    Based on the error message, outlook cannot connect IMAP server, for this, please double confirm if you configured IMAP setting correctly in Outlook. For your reference: POP and IMAP email settings for Outlook

    Also, check if your email address and password are entered correctly.

    The configuration is correct

    However, I still can’t point out the problem.

    I have left it for now and continued using my mail on chrome browser
