Hi Team,

Can user and admin access to Microsoft team chat in outlook . I know that Admin can access teams chat by running an e-discovery but is there another way to access teams chat history also can user access teams chat history from outlook without running an e-discovery

No, the only way is to use e-discovery. Teams stores an individual’s chat history in a hidden file in the users mailbox which is not accessible via OWA or Outlook. Users or Administrators cannot access these hidden files.
