May I know the full database backup taken by Azure recovery service vault is a snapshot one ?

    Not sure I fully understand your question but sounds like you are asking if snapshots are used for full DB backup? Answer is yes. Let us know if you are seeing otherwise.

    If you haven't already, I recommend a quick read on how backup process works. Also found this video tutorial with useful info.
