Linux VM Security Recommendations

Hi All,

The security recommendations on one of our VM's are failing the checks to ensure they have been completed and they have. We have waitied the statutory 24 hours and they are still showing as unresolved BUT I am pretty certain its the checking that is flawed.

For example three of the recommended checks are for IPV4 and we do not have that we have IPV6. So the check complains it cant find ...IPV4.....

Another one relates to root login. One check said to change this to NOLOGIN which has been done but the next check tries to use "su" as the root user to check the PATH. This then sequencing issue but nevertheless stops the recommendations showing resolved.

I also had a whole bunch of them fail as I resolved the issue but not in the way MS wanted or used for the check. That was down to me and not worried about those just a heads up..

All very messy with the auto-check. Is there a way to manually mark these recommendations as resolved? or is there a way to tell it to use a different check, or even some manual Azure MS input to mark these fixed ?
