Everytime I click Mark all the items as read I get confirmation pop-up asking me if Im sure I want to do it. How can I prevent this question? I have a another hotmail account and there I don´t get such confirmation pop-up. Couldn´t find anything from settings.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant when I have multiple unread mails in my folder and then I click "Mark all as read", it´s asking confirmation. I am using Outlook.com

    Hello Saul,

Welcome to Microsoft Community, and thank you for reaching out!

We want to get to the bottom of this just as much as you do. Let's sort this out together.

To help us identify the cause of the issue and then find the proper resolution for it, please provide the following information:

    • Can you please provide us the **screenshot**of the complete message you're getting?
    • Since you tagged the case under Outlook.com, I'd like to clarify how are you opening the email? Is it through the Outlook app or Outlook.com?
    • If you're using the Outlook app, what version are you using? To check, please click this link.
    • What device are you using to access your email?
    • If you're using a Windows device, which version are you using?

Usually, when marking items as read, a confirmation pop asking if you're sure you want to do it if the email you're marking as read has a read-receipt request

When requesting read receipts, delivery receipt confirms delivery of your email message to the recipient's mailbox, but not that the recipient has seen it or read it. A read receipt confirms that your message was opened.

To notify us and have us get back to you, simply reply to this post.
