Send on Behalf - signature

I have a question regarding "Send on behalf option"

The situation is following :

The user needs to send email from outlook on behalf his boss.

There is a need to be written ( person x is sending on behalf person y)

In outgoing mail - there is a ( person x is sending on behalf person y note), but in inbox there is none - looks like person x sent email directly

Permissions have been set to Full access

Permission in client have all been set to "none"  as on photo

Send as is not activated ( only send on behalf through Admin center), even through powershell.

On outgoing mail, you can see the ( in auftrag von / on behalf of ) sign

but in inbox - there is none - sign of ( on behalf)

is there a possible solution of this problem?? Some workaround? Or at least logical explanation - all tutorials  i have seen show that this should work (     https://kb.intermedia.net/Article/2165     )

Thank You in advance

    Hi AnteK1,

Thanks for your post with above detailed information.

From your description, if you want to allow person x is sending on behalf person y, we recommend you may restore all current settings and the try to edit and assign the send on behalf permission via the following steps and check if it helps:

    1. Sign into Microsoft 365 admin center, negative to Users >Active users page.
    2. Click on person y from the active users list, click Mail tab, under Mailbox permissions, click Send on behalf of permissions:

    1. Under Add send on behalf of permissions, enter person person x's email address and click Save changes:

Wait for a few hours for the changes to take effect, then try to send a test email from Outlook web APP to check the result.

For your reference: Send email from a different address in Outlook on the web

    Best regards,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jennifer

Thank you for reply,  but in the meanwhile i have found the solution for this problem.

Thing is , in corporate domains , the "message is sent on behalf" works only for users of  internal domain email addresses.

For external email accounts it  appears like the incoming email have been sent directly from the user.

    Thank you for your help
