Hi, before I shut off my computer my outlook was working fine.

Just turned on my Mac and where the icon was for my Outlook has been replaced with a folder named "Microsoft Outlook.app.installBackup"

Outlook for whatever reason is no longer on my applications list in Finder and its not on my Launchpad either.

Please help me :(

Hi Tristan,

May I know how did you installed Outlook for Mac using Office 365 portal or else?

Please provide us with the detailed screenshot about the Office version, Open any Office application, such as Word and create a new document. For example, go to Word and choose About Word. see About Office: What version of Office am I using?

Are you using Time Machine for backup?

If so, you can use that backup to restore to see whether you can recover the Outlook.

Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated. Have a nice day and stay safe!

Best regards,

Shyamal
