VERIFICATION CODE DOESN'T COME TO MY GMAIL

Hello,

I have another account and I can't seem to rescue it. I am pretty sure that I wrote the spare mail correctly. However when I click forgot your password and use mail it doesn't send the verification code to me. If you can contact me via e-mail I can give you really specific answers about my account. I remember the names of the albums I have a facebook account logged in via this account. But just because I can't remember my Skype name from 2010 and recent e mails which can be 10 years ago I cannot save my account. I can't reach you from anywhere. I have tried everything. Please save me from this stupid situation. It really sucks when I have a facebook account that I can log in and see 5 recent messages Facebook sent to this email and not to be able to reach them. Have a nice day.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

    Hi gupseçetin,

We understand that you’re having issues receiving the verification code to your Gmail account. Let’s work this together and we’ll help you in the best way we can.

This may be due to some delay in the process of receiving the code. To know more about the situation, we’d like to ask the following:

    1. Can you try and see the exact message that you’ll get when you sign in to your account using this link: https://login.live.com/? You may share a screenshot if possible and please make sure to hide or delete the personal information that may be included. This can help us check other options applicable to get into your account.
    2. Are you trying to reset the password of a personal Hotmail/Outlook.com account?
    3. Just to confirm, is the Gmail account being referred to your post is associated with your account as one of its security information?
    4. Noted that the email address was mentioned to receive the code. May we verify if there are other available security information linked to your account like a phone number instead?

While we wait for your answers, as an initial recommendation, we have an article that contains steps on how to troubleshoot the verification code issue. You may go through the section: I’m not getting my verification code. What do I do?

We’d love to hear from you soon and provide other suggestions.

My answers are all yes to second third and forth questions. However the phone number saved in my account is an old one. If possible we can try with a new one.

Thanks for getting back to us and for the information provided.

Based on the error message indicated in the screenshot you’ve provided, it seems likely it’s having a conflict with the password being. Regarding the code, may we confirm if you’ve already tried the suggested troubleshooting steps in this article when you’re unable to receive the verification code?

If you have done this yet, you may check the junk email folder of your Gmail account and the message that contains the code may have been moved there. Also, you may mark @accountprotection.microsoft.com as a trusted sender to receive the verification code in your inbox.

Additional ways to isolate the issue of not receiving verification codes:

Method 1: Clear the cache and cookies of the browser you’re using on your device.

Method 2: Connect to a different network/Internet connection.

Method 3: Use another device or trusted device/usual location to request a verification code.

Method 4: Use another browser or go into Private browsing.

When it comes to the old phone number, this can be changed once you already access the account and update it from there. For now, we can use the available security information in your account and continue to troubleshoot receiving verification codes using the steps above.

Please respond to this thread to let us know how the issue progresses. Similarly, if you have more questions, please inform us by replying to this post.
