Weird Password Issue

So we've been having this issue with my mum's account where is keeps saying the password is wrong if she tries to login to the site and after logining into Windows it talks about an issue with her Microsoft account but if we try to fix it we get told the password is incorrect there too.

So here is the thing, she can log into Windows using the password and it is fine and at one point went through password recovery and put in the new password we just made and got told it was wrong. My first thought was maybe the browser's built in adblocker (Opera) may have been causing an issue but that wouldn't explain the incorrect password when "trying to fix" the account problem.

If anyone know what is causing this issue and how to fix it I'd greatly appriciate any assistance.

    So I figured out the issue, and let me know if this makes sense to anyone at all, it will only regognise an old password, from like 2 passwords back. Even though, as I mentioned before we went through password recovery and changed it to try and get into the account it seens like it completely ignored the change request and defaulted to an older password,,,
