To whom it may concern;

I just received this email.

Mailbox Termination Request

Domain: Edhec.com

We received a request to permanently terminate your email account (*my email address*)
Time: 28/04 12:57:09

Was this request by you?
If not, Use any of the options below

The options I have are "Keep Mailbox Active" or "Terminate Mailbox Now". Is this a scam? Should I ignore it or should I click on Keep Mailbox Active?

Thank you for the support.

Best regards,

Ennio

In fact, it is not necessary to change your password since you did not enter your personal information in the links it contains, therefore your account is safe, in the same way here you can see how to keep your account safe:

This message they sent you is a message that scammers send randomly looking for any user to fall for their trap.

Greetings, have a nice day

    Hi, EnnioOggianu

My name is Alison, I am an Independent Advisor. I would love to help you today.

This is clearly a scam attempt, Microsoft will never close your account, as this can only be done by yourself, the only way to delete an account on its own is if it is inactive for more than two years.

Please mark this email as "spam" and do not enter your personal information in the link it contains.

I hope I have cleared you of doubts, if so, do not forget to rate me.

    Greetings!

    Alison.

    Dear Alison,

Thank you for your reply. I have one further question: would you advice me to change my password? Do you think that this email was sent to me because of poor security of my account?

    Thank you in advance.

    Ennio
