    @Chloe Lam

    I use wrap text to move my picture but it is not working anymore.

    Does "In line with text" Wrapping style option not work either, that pictures continue to disappear?

    Which version of Office are you using now?
    Such as Microsoft 365 apps for enterprise, Office Home & Student 2019.
    Please go to go to File > Options > Advanced > Under Display section, check whether there is tick the box "Disable hardware garphics acceleration" option, if yes, you may tick it to have a look.

    After the picture disappears, are there any icons displayed on the position of the pictures?
    If yes, please take a screenshot and post back here.
    It‘s recommended to open these documents with lost images on other computers, and then check whether pictures could be displayed back.

    I also want to confirm, does this issue of losing images occur with all Word documents?

    • If yes, you may try to rename Word gloable template. Search %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Templates\, then find the Normal.dotm and rename it. This file will be automatically generated when reopen Word.
    • If not, I suggest you change the view for these documents, such as Print View.
      In addintion, you may copy all the content to a new document for a test.

    Any updates, please let us know.

    Generally, you have to set Text Wrapping to something other than "In line with text" if you want to drag & drop a picture.

    To fix the display issue, verify that you have set pictures and drawn objects to be displayed and printed. For WinWord, specifically, have a look at http://wordfaqs.ssbarnhill.com/InvisibleGraphics.htm.
