Infinite puzzle loop

Hello,

I am trying to create an account, and like others am stuck at the puzzle not a robot verification. Unlike others, I can get it to register correct answers so it goes to 'creating account' which lands on the puzzle verification again. It's an infinite loop! How do I get to the actual account creation?!?!

    Hi EmmaS_924,

Greetings from the Microsoft Community Forum! Please accept our warmest regards and sincerest hope that all is well.

From the description you provided you're unable to create a Microsoft account due to getting stuck at the "not a robot" puzzle.

That's not a good way to start the year with Microsoft to be honest but in any case let's work together as a team to try and figure out the root cause of this issue of yours. To start things off though I need to ask:

    1. Are you getting all green checkmarks when visiting the follow web site using the device you're creating the account on?

    https://portal.office.com/ServiceStatus

    1. Have you tried creating the account in a totally different device and see if that helps with this issue?
    2. One workaround that has moderate success has been to use the audio challenge option of the puzzle as described by Morebold in this other thread. To quote: "There is a speaker icon below this "Im not a robot" button that gives you a chance to go the audio route and bypass the puzzle all together. You're then given a question like, "choose the audio clip that sounds like a crowd of people" and you hear four different audio clips. It's easy to sort out and type the number of the clip that sounds like a crowd." Have you tried this workaround yet, ma'am?

At any rate, please post on the same thread if you need further help.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Respectfully,
