Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Are you filtering by unread or do you remove all read messages from the Inbox?

I've been having this problem for awhile... I open outlook.com in Chrome (or Edge, it doesn't matter) and I click an email and it opens. As I work my way through my emails, I'll open the second to last one and the last email disappears (before I open it). I have to click "undo" and refresh the page.. and it appears again. This doesn't haven't in the app on my phone or when I use the Outlook app on my laptop. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm glad it went well and thank you for the update. Have a good day!
Kind regards,

Thanks for the response. I waited until this morning to try clearing the data, cache, and history because I get more emails through the night. I also changed the display order -- I had the older emails showing first, now the new emails show first... between clearing the data and making that change -- it seems to fix it... thanks for you help.
Hi, ScottCole4.
I'm Jen, an Outlook user just like you. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.
I understand your Outlook.com inbox is not working correctly and behaves the same in any browser you use. Since this is not isolated to only one browser, I'd suggest that you check Outlook's service status to see if this is a known issue.

You can also try clearing Temporary Internet Files and website files, Cookies, and website data. You can find this going to Windows search, type Internet Options > once Internet Properties is open go to General tab > in Browsing history click on Delete button > add a checkmark on Temporary Internet Files and website files and Cookies, and website data.
Feel free to share how it went.
Kind regards,
JC
