I have received the email below from the following email address and want to know if this is legit :  email address received from :  Microsoft account team <******@protection-account-microsoft.com> Microsoft 365

Dear, shalompayroll,

Your account of ******@hotmail.co.za will be disconnected from sending or receiving mails from other users. because you failed to resolve errors on your mail. You need to resolve the errors or your account will be disconnected.
Follow the instruction below to resolve now.

RESOLVE ISSUE NOW

Regarding your query, I comment that, at no time, Microsoft will delete your account, deactivate it or request any procedure to delete the account, as this can only be done by the owner, therefore, you could be a victim of identity theft.

2. There is a period of inactivity greater than two years.
