Preserving unread folder on another computer

I accidentally marked all my unread messages as read on one of my computers and I’m already aware it can’t be undone however I have another computer that the unread folder haven’t been updated on so they are currently still showing unread there. I quickly shut it down to stop it from updating. Is there a way to move the file somewhere so it won’t update to preserve the unread messages?

Here's something that might work for you. On the computer where they still are marked unread (I assume you're looking in Outlook desktop's Unread Mail search folder), select them all. When the sync completes and they are all marked as read, they should still all be selected. At this point, you should be able mark them all as unread again which, in turn, should propagate back to the other machine.
