I couldn't clear the Outlook autocomplete list, which seemed full because instead of showing new names, it showed most of the names from at least a year or two ago. I've hit the button to clear it about 50 times... The names still come up. In the CMD prompt run "Outlook. Exe/cleanautocompletecache"... The names still come up. The AutoComplete folder in the RoamCache folder has been searched and deleted... The names still come up. Uninstalled and reinstalled all of my Office 365 applications... The names still come up. Deleted all my email addresses and then added them to Outlook... The names still come up. Type a name, then click the "x" next to it to remove it from the list... The names still come up. But it got better!! Go to another computer and use Outlook... The name appears there! Using the online version of Outlook... The name appears there!

Based on your description, I surly know your requirement. I am so sorry to hear that you meet such situation. First, you can try the suggestions vRah said,if it still nothing works. I understand your anxious. You can try the following steps to have a try:

  1. Download MFCMAPI tool. You can download it from http://mfcmapi.codeplex.com or GitHub - stephenegriffin/mfcmapi: MFCMAPI.
  2. Run mfcmapi.exe>Session>Lgon
  3. If you are prompted for a profile, select the desired profile name, and then click OK.
  4. In the top pane, locate the line that corresponds to your mailbox, and then double-click it.
  5. In the left-side navigation pane, expand Root Container, and then expand Top of Information Store or IPM_SUBTREE.
  6. Right-click the Inbox folder, and then click Open Associated Content Table. This action opens a new MFCMAPI window that contains various properties.
  7. Under the Subject column, right-click the item that has the subject IPM.Configuration.Autocomplete, and then delete it.
