this is a personal account. i found my laptop, although when i checked the location, it gave an address in a different neighborhood. Is this common? it was the correct serial number of my laptop.

I use outlook on my iphone, but this did not show as one of the devices.

does anyone else have access to your account?

Please follow these steps below to see if your account is logged in somewhere else that you don't know of:

    Sign in to account.microsoft.com/devices.

Find the device you want to find, then select Show details.

    Either select Find my device.

To check for any security issues, go to Windows Defender settings, select Show details, and check your security status.

also, are you using a personal or an organizational account?

Please let me know how it goes, so I can provide further assistance.

    Kind regards

    Mustafa

Hello! My name is Mustafa, and I am an Independent Advisor as well as a long-time Microsoft user. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue, and I am hopeful that I will be able to help you find a satisfactory solution.

Is this an organizational email or is it a personal email?

if you are an admin or this is a personal email please follow these steps:

    1. In the upper-right corner of the page, click the gear icon, and then click More mail settings. Under Preventing junk email, click Safe and blocked senders.
    2. Click Safe Senders.
    3. In the text box, type in the email address or domain you’d like to always receive email from, and then click Add to list >>.

You may also check your block senders list to make sure that it is not contributing to the issue.

    Check your Blocked sender list

    1. In the upper-right corner of the page, click the gear icon, and then click More mail settings. Under Preventing junk email, click Safe and blocked senders.
    2. Click Blocked senders.
    3. In the Blocked sender's list, select the name or domain (the part of an e-mail address that follows the @ sign, such as hotmail.com) that you now want to receive mail from, and then click << Remove from list.

Please let me know if this doesn't work or if you need further assistance.

    Warm Regards,

    Mustafa
