Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hello again,
You have not understood me correctly and I have not gotten my message out well enough I will use another way. Pardon me for a while, this will be long.
You cannot sync your Gmail and Comcast email to be showing in your outlook email all three are different mail clients.
Let me use another explanation:
Imagine your Gmail is Netflix, Comcast is Amazon Prime and Outlook is Disney+
Let us assume Disney sells TVs and on that TV like the TVs around, you can configure your Amazon, Netflix, HBO, BBC, and so on.
You bought a Disney TV and you also went ahead to buy a Disney Package which comes with Disney+, ESPN, and Hulu. For this case Espn is Excel and Hulu is Word.
You also configured your Amazon and Netflix accounts on this TV.
This Disney package allows you to watch it on the Web, so if you open the Web page of the Disney channel and you are looking to watch Lord of the Rings (a show on Amazon Prime) you cannot. You will have to go to the Amazon site to do so, not the Disney+ site.
The Outlook Desktop App is like a TV, which you can configure all your emails on it.
If you open your Gmail on the web you will see your Gmail there, if you open your Comcast on the web you will see your Comcast mail there.
If you open your outlook on the web you will see your outlook there. You will not see Gmail or Comcast there, which is what you are witnessing at the moment.
My explanation was, you opened a Microsoft Account with a non-outlook mail, so Microsoft just created a random one for you. Remember this email is like Disney+ it comes with the package even if you do not need it.
So if you decide to create an Outlook email and change your Microsoft Account email to Outlook So as to personalize it, you still will not see your desktop configured emails there, you will only see Outlook emails there. As this is not an email you use it will still be empty. Because your desktop Outlook App is just like a TV with the ability to have you configure other emails on it.
You cannot move emails from Gmail or Comcast to sync with emails on Outlook. They are different mail clients.
I hope you get it now.
I am still here if you do not.
