How do I import my .csv contact list into Outlook for Mac?

I've been trying to do this off and on for three days. Was on the phone with Microsoft today and they couldn't figure it out, either. The Import/Export tabs are dimmed on the New Outlook app. And when I reverted to the old Outlook, it required an OLM or PST file. This is absurd! I could do it in about 2 minutes using Apple's Mail app. What's up, Microsoft?

    Hello Kenneth

Import/Export is coming to the new Outlook but it won't help - Outlook for mac has never supported importing CSV.

What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange?

If you have a Microsoft 365 account (outlook.com or business) you can import it in Outlook on the web.

You can import into apple's app then drag the contacts to Outlook's contact folder.
