Microsoft Outlook appearance changed

Question

Microsoft Outlook "new message" changed appearance yesterday. Now has paper airplane icon to left of to & from info. At same time started get "failed delivery" messages (though none today). Found this website & it doesn't list that icon: Icons found in the Inbox, Message Headers, and Toolbars - Outlook Tips (outlook-tips.net). Should I be concerned about this?

You have the current version - they updated the interface.

It's hard to say why the message failed - it could be a transient error on the server or a bad internet connection. Hopefully you won't have it happen again.

THANKS! Feel safer -- appreciate your reply. The only screen I saw a difference in was "new mail" & that unnerved me.

I'm not sure the delivery failure is related to the appearance change. Only ONE email address appears to have been impacted, but it happened at the same time, recipient reported no other such failures, & that makes me nervous. The message was from "Postmaster" & said: This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed.

It is an IMAP account.

The icon itself doesn't bother me -- just want to make sure it's OK/is normal & does not indicate a problem. I just don't understand why the appearance of that ONE screen suddenly changed like that. I have Microsoft Office Home & Business 2019.

Found where it said Office updates were available & updated, but that icon is still there.

I need to update that web page with the new icons... but just changing icons should not prevent mail from sending.

What is the full failed delivery message say?

What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange?
