Not receiving all emails

I created a second email alias for an employee at the company I work for and now they are not receiving all of their emails. I checked the exchange admin portal and everything is showing successful and some one offs that are marked as spam. I also tested it by emailing both the primary and secondary alias and they are coming through. They were supposed to receive a verification code from survey monkey but it has not come through. I'm looking for ideas of where I can look and how I can resolve this issue.

One of the things I was looking into is if they might be going to their Microsoft account and not to their work/school Microsoft account?

    Dear MichaelYF,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you are having an issue with Not receiving all emails after creating a second email alias. Before moving forward, we need more detailed information about the situation you are experiencing.

Kindly share with us the information below:

    1. Can you confirm that the alias isn't already in use somewhere else?
    2. You said that some of the messages are identified as spam; can you ensure that no rule is in place?
    3. Could you please confirm that all primary and secondary aliases have the same domain?

Meanwhile, if they have access to a work or school account linked to the PC, this will cause a sync issue. Check to see if the work account can be deactivated and see if anything changes.

Furthermore, the "from" address will be determined by the user's Outlook client when they answer. The alias at which the email was received will be used by Outlook on the web. The main email alias will be used by Outlook desktop.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely,

De Paul | Microsoft Community Moderator

Email will not sync says I need a administrator. I am not on a server. I am not working in a company
