Cannot Open Microsoft Outlook

I uninstalled Outlook (Office 365) from my Windows 10 PC maybe a year ago because the search function was horrendously slow. I've since realized that search on outlook.com misses several emails that it should include so I tried to install outlook app again. Now I am getting the below error message saying that some apple DLL issue is preventing outlook from opening. I don't care about icloud. It's not installed on my PC anymore. The path of the APLZOD.dll referenced in the error message also doesn't exist. I just want outlook to work. How can I get outlook to work?

Error Message:

Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. An unexpected error has occurred.

MAPI was unable to load the information service C:\ProgramData\Apple Inc\Cloud\Outlook\APLZOD.dll. Be sure the service is correctly installed and configured.

Hello Bruce,

That is referring to the iCloud addin. Did you make a new profile or are you using the profile you used before (and had set up to sync iCloud calendar & contacts) ?

Start typing control panel on the start menu - open it when it comes up.

Type mail in the search box in control panel. Open Mail (Microsoft outlook) when it comes up. You can either click Data files button and delete the iCloud data file or make a new profile.
