Hi,
I am working on a macbook pro and outlook for mac V16.43
Recently, when i send an email from my @gmail account it is saved in my draft folder as well as my sent folder. It just started doing this in the last week. It seems to send them ok.
I have been using @gmail and outlook for several years and this just started happening.
It doesn't mess anything up, except i have way more clutter. When i search for an email now, i get multiple of the same emails in the results.

Hi TrishMP,
Thank you for posting on Microsoft Forum.
Based on your description, I understand that the emails are being saved in draft folder and sent folder.
It is most common when IMAP is used, but it may occur with other kinds of accounts as well. Assuming that is the case, turn it off by opening Mail's preferences, select your e-mail account, click the "Mailbox Behaviors" tab, and uncheck the option to save draft messages on the server, and then, after manually deleting any previously saved drafts, restart your computer.
I would want to ask you a couple of questions in order to better understand the situation.
Moreover, this might be a server issue; to resolve it, remove your e-mail account from Outlook and re-add it and update outlook to the latest version to automatically return to Outlook default settings.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best Regards,
De Paul
