wrong language in verification mail

When I get a verification mail with login code for accessing my Microsoft account the mail is in Hindi whilst I am dutch.     I found the solution in another thread. this is the main solution to a problem that I have been confronted with for about 6 years now where I couldn't get the answer. I am posting this for other people who have the same problem. It has something to do with a xbox360 account that I used to have.

    Solution by ivanlai118:

    1. Go to https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage
    2. Scroll down and set your language to EN-US > Save
    3. Under "Security info helps keep your account secure," remove your current email address and re-add it.

    (You may have to use a temp email account if you only have one email address for receiving security related emails from Microsoft.)

    I'm Jen, an Outlook user just like you. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

    I understand you're receiving emails from Microsoft in a different language. Have you already tried going to https://account.microsoft.com/ then click Your info tab and try switching the language to English then refresh your account and switch it back to dutch again to see if new emails from Microsoft would recognize it?
