Hello Kevin,
Greetings for the day. I’m an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you. Thanks for posting the query here at this forum. I understand that you have tried multiple workarounds and the issue is still persisting.
If your Inbox is full, you won't be able to send or receive new messages. To make room in your inbox, try emptying your junk folder by right-clicking Junk Email and then selecting the Empty folder.
Please follow below steps to reset outlook app,
- Close all Office applications.
- Sign-out of your Office account.
- Do a safe reboot. You can start Safe Mode using the F8 key during start up.
- In the meantime, if your Office is not yet updated, kindly install the latest updates. Check the steps in this article: Install Office updates - https://support.microsoft.com/office/2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5
- To clear the cache, try below steps:
- On your keyboard, press the "Windows" key (the key labeled with the Windows logo) and the "R" key at the same time. This will open the "Run" function.
- In the Run pop-up window, click on the field next to "Open:" and type the following line of text: %localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook
- Once you have finished typing, click "OK."
- A pop-up window will appear. Locate the folder called "RoamCache" and double-click on it.
- You can clear individual files from your cache or you can clear them all at once Just delete all the files and restart the app and verify.
- Start Outlook in safe mode.
Choose Start > Run.
Type Outlook /safe, and choose OK.
In the Choose Profiles dialog box, accept the default setting of Outlook and choose OK.
Hope this information would be useful to you and the issue won't appear again. Please feel free to get back if the issue is not rectified.
