"show reply" button missing

Hi!

I have a couple people working from a shared mailbox. When person A replies to an email, the "you replied to this message on [date]" bar shows up, including the "show reply" button. When user B navigates to that same email, it shows the "you replied to this message on [date]" bar, but the "show reply" button is missing. This works both ways around (so if B replies, A sees the bar without the button).

[Both users work on an iMac, with Outlook for Mac. Same version, same everything. They both reply from the shared mailbox address, and sent items are stored in the mailbox.]

Is this intended behavior for this button? Is it locally cached? Or is there some config I can mess with to get this working?

Thank you!

Robert.

    Hi Simbarashe,

They both use Outlook version 16.54, and they don't have the "new look" enabled.

I'll check for updates on both machines again tomorrow, but please let me know if you find anything in the meantime.

    Thank you!
