Outlook frequently sends emails about an old email that is synced to my out look account. This email no longer exists. This is synced account is not showing on the down loaded outlook; Only when Outlook is used via browser. When I attempt to delete it via Outlook, Settings, View All Settings, Sync Email, clicking the delete icon does not do anything. Is there some other procedure that can be used to delete this synced email that no longer exists?

    Hello Ethel

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

Have now seen this same issue reported by multiple people so suspect that there is a server-side issue

The only suggestion anyone can make is to contact Outlook.com support who have access to your account and can check for any problems

To contact Outlook.com support, log into your Outlook.com account using a browser and click on the ? (top right)

    #1 - Enter your question

#2 - When the results are returned, scroll down to the end of the returned results and click on <Yes> under the question "Still need help?"

    #3 - Proceed accordingly

Just so there is no misunderstanding, this is a public user-to-user support forum. We're users just like you helping other users. We do not work for Microsoft and have no access to any user account so there is nothing we can do or check from within the forum.
