BCC option doesn't work

When I want to send an email with the bcc option to a distribution list, my Outlook application crashes and restarts. I can send the emails in the normal way and with a copy of the same, but not with the blind copy option.

I already tried with the web version and it doesn't let me either, it just doesn't send the mail.

The only thing I have done is an office repair.

Does anyone know what is causing this error? if it will be an error of my app or my distribution list?

    Hello, AndreaGomezArm

Welcome to Microsoft Community and appreciate your time taken for sharing detailed information. According to your description, I guess you want to know why your Outlook crashes when you try to send e-mail with BCC. Please correct me if I understand wrong.

I sent an e-mail with BCC option both in the Outlook app and in outlook.com my own computer, and the mail was sent successfully without anything wrong. May I ask which version of Outlook are you using? Is there any error message when you tried with the web version? Also, how many recipients you wanted to send the e-mail with BCC? If there are too many recipients, it may also cause Outlook to crash or the e-mail fail to be sent out.

For the problems you encounter when using Outlook app, you can refer to here and try to solve it yourself:

Outlook crashes or stops responding when used with Office 365 (microsoft.com)

Pay attention to "Create a new Outlook profile" and "Investigate possible issues caused by add-ins" on this page, as these might be helpful for resolving this issue.

Feel free to post back if you have any additional questions.

    Best Regard,

    Mancy| Microsoft Community Support Specialist
