Sharepoint page with custom html/js code going unresponsive

Question

Hello,

I have a SharePoint page in V2016 on-premise.
There is a html code with jQuery running to hit SP list and pull data and load in jQuery list grid. When the page is going idle for sometime, i see that the page is going unresponsive. I am unable to get any clue how to troubleshoot this issue. Is it a default SP functionality with custom code to go unresponsive if the page is idle for some time?

Hi @usha jyothsna ,

I have never met this issue before. In SharePoint 2016, I have some pages inserted with js code through content editor web part. But all these pages works well.
