Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Hello Gary FL
Thank you for choosing our Microsoft Community.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
From the Outlook for Windows category you posted, we know your problem is "Emails are still being placed in your Junk Folder after being marked as not spam". Please feel free to correct me if my understanding is wrong. I know that sometimes troubleshooting can take a while and the fact that the problem has not been resolved can be frustrating.
We deeply sympathize with your feelings. Due to the limited information and many reasons for the problem, we may need more detailed information from you. The valuable clues you provide are the key to solving the problem.
- Which email provider has the current email account, e.g. @Gmail.com/@Outlook.com/@iCloud.com
- Does the issue with putting messages in the spam folder occur only on a specific email account or on all email accounts
- If this is convenient for you, try logging into the mailbox page to see if these messages was put in the spam folder. Outlook only synchronizes the data on the web page, if the web page is also placed in the junk mail folder, you may have to contact the ISP service provider for support to ask the judgment conditions for junk mail
- Has this problem already occurred or has it only occurred recently?
Although there are many reasons which these mails were put into spam, before finding a solution, let's discuss the following situations:
We recommend that you create rules. Click " File >> Click" Manage Rules and Alerts >> "Click " New Rule " in the dialog box >> Select " Apply rule when received >> Next step Under specific conditions , you can choose to with specific words or from people or public group >> The rules for words are as follows:
>> and move it to a specific folder (you can specifically select the inbox folder). Using this method, you can create rules to customize mail and avoid mail being placed in your Junk Mail Folder
3- Meanwhile**,** select "Spam Options" in the search box in the top navigation bar >> Add Safe Senders to apply these emails from a specific email address >> as shown below:
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
Best regards
