Good morning

I have a problem adding the email account ..............@me.com to the native outlook email client.

It is trying to authenticate with both the password for the mail account and the generated password for the external application.

Please help me to solve this problem.

    Thank you for sharing some information with me.

    1. As you mentioned "authenticate with both the password for the mail account and the generated password", seems like you have tried with app password which is generating from your IMAP email support provider, if yes, may I please re-confirm if you are creating another app password from your IMAP email account side and using newly created app password, are you getting any difference? If you can confirm this.
    2. As per your description "I am using office 365, Outlook native application on my windows PC", could you please share with me what Office version number are you using currently? To provide screenshot of Office version number, here is detailed steps article: About Office: What version of Office am I using? - Microsoft Support
    3. Furthermore, when you configure your IMAP email account under Outlook 365 desktop client version on Windows PC, are you getting any error message? if yes, could you please share with me that detailed error screenshot page via private message?

    * May I please know whether you are using Office 365 exchange online email account or POP / IMAP email account?

    * May I please double confirm are you using Office 365 outlook application or Windows native mail Outlook application or any other third party application?
