I have an Outlook.com account. It seems to work fine. I’d like to automatically forward messages sent to my outlook.com account to another email account. In Settings , Forwarding I can turn on Forwarding, enter a email address to forward to, and turn on keep a copy of forwarded messages. But no Save or Discard button appears, either at the top or bottom of the page. So my setting for forwarding aren’t saved. Can someone please help?

I chatted with microsoft help.
It took him about 10 minutes and to ask back with his supervisor.

Answer was:
I have shared the information to my higher team and after seeing the screenshot shared by you, they found that the issues where you are not getting the save option is because of the low reputation score.'

In order to increase the reputation, score I would suggest you to please check the reputation score multiple times.

Yes, this is the part of the process that you just have to update the information in your profile and then the score will be increased for you.

This link also can help you to increase account reputation status.

    Abdullah,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it didn't help solve the problem. Every set of instructions for setting up forwarding says I have to press the virtual SAVE button. But after entering the requested information the Save button doesn't show on the screen. The only way to leave the screen for setting up forwarding is to press the X button in the upper right and that quits the setup. I've tested this on three different browsers (Safari, Edge and Firefox) and the Save and Discard buttons don't show up on any of them. In addition, I've tried setting up Redirect for all messages and that doesn't work either. Hopefully you can think of something else or someone else will have an idea. This is a problem that has been around for months and many others have had the same problem.

Reputation is higher now and SAVE button is there.

Save button only appears when you start typing the email (but anyway, it did not before..now it does)

    How stupid is outlook?

I mean, if my reputation is low then

    a) TELL ME

    b) close my account or whatever

but do not fool your customers around with hiding the SAVE button.

    Why are you doing that?

Do you think I have endless time to do silly things??
    Idiots.

Well....... that worked for me as well. That is absolutely rediculous that Microsoft doesn't have ANY explanation of that on the forwarding page. It was pure chance that I found this post. Thanks for your detective work.
