Shared Mailbox - No Auto-Reply if Forwarding enabled , problem returns

First off, this approach to disable auto-reply when a Forward is setup is a horrible design idea. Of COUSE you still want to be able to setup an auto-reply even when Forwarding is on!

This specific step in that work around does not exist for an option. There is no "Move, copy, delete", there is only Delete.

  • Under Do the Following, point to Move, copy or delete, and then select Copy the Message to the Folder.

So, if you click More options, the screen changes, and in the Do the Following box you get an option of Re-direct, or to Forward.

Choosing either of those options, adding the destination e-mail you want the message, the person who should get the forward does get the forward, but there is still no auto-reply to the original sender.

Why Microsoft? Why? What sense does this make to force these 2 settings to deny one or the other the means to work?
