Unsending an email

Hello,

Is it possible to unsend an email once it has been sent on the Microsoft Outlook app for Android.

Is there an option anywhere?

I'm Jen, I'm also an Outlook user just like you. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

I understand you want to recall an email from your Outlook mobile app. Unfortunately, there is no option to recall emails both in-app and through web access. However, you can set up undo send in your Outlook.com settings to delay sending emails which give you enough time to cancel it in case you sent it to the wrong recipient. I'll have a look into that.

I believe the default time allowed to unsend an email on Outllook.com is 10 seconds. That doesn't seem very long! Maybe at least a minute after realising the wrong email has been sent!

Do you know if it can be set up to work on the Android app for Outlook.com?

Apologies for the late response. I have the same feature in one of my accounts. Unfortunately, the undo only works using a browser but using my Outlook Android app, the emails are still sent instantly.
