How to remove an inline image in Outlook email

I have an email in my Outlook 2016 inbox. The email has text, a PDF attachment, and two inline images. I want to keep the email, but remove the two inline images. I see a way to remove the attachment, but do not see a way to remove the inline images. Can they be removed? Any assistance is appreciated.

I do not want to reply or forward the email, just remove the images and save it.

Paul

    Hello Nut,

I'm Diane, an Office Apps & Services MVP specializing in Outlook, and I’m happy to help you today.

You need to open the message for editing - this is only possible in Outlook installed on the desktop.

Open the message, then look on the Home tab, in the Move section, for Other Actions button and choose Edit message.
