How can users move forward or backward between emails when an email is open without going back to the outlook mail panel?

When I open an email in a separate window, I would like to go on to the next email without returning to the main outlook panel.

    Hi houman Alavehzadeh,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Forum.According to your description, I understand that you want the move forward or backward between emails when opening email in a separate window.

From my understanding you might add these buttons from FileOptions > Quick access toolbar > then Choose command from all commands > Add Previous item and Next Item then click OK, to get these buttons available, make sure Quick Access Toolbar is not hidden.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi Paul

thanks for your reply. I could not find any option with the names Previous item or Next Item in all command list

Open an email in a separate window, File > Options > Quick Access Toolbar.

When opening a message in its own window or composing a message in its own window, Next and Previous arrows can appear on the QAT.

You have to access the QAT settings while viewing a message in a separate window.

    Hi houman Alavehzadeh,

Before searching for Next Appointment(Item) and Previous Appointment(Item), make sure you have selected the "All command". If you have selected them but are still not receiving them, I recommend that you update your Outlook program.

    Regards,

    De Paul
