Surface Duo 2 Outlook issues

I've had the Surface Duo 2 for a month or so and I love it! But I think I did something to remove the notification dots on Outlook. Dots work elsewhere.

It started with Outlook email notification settings getting mixed -- I had one email account that I wanted to pop up a notification and another that I wanted not to. The Outlook notification settings allow you this discretion, and it worked for a little while, then I saw other emails popping up from accounts that were set to silent.

In any case, I've looked thru a lot of help articles and I'm thinking I need to reset Outlook -- delete data and cache and disable (can't uninstall it) -- but I wanted to check and see if there was another alternative. I've cleared data and cache and had to reset my email addresses twice as part of trouble shooting so far, did not work.

Thanks, ,

After a recent Outlook update the notification function became very unreliable. Sometimes I got them and sometimes not. This has improved with a more recent app update, but notification dots are still missing. It doesn't sound like it's something wrong with your configuration.
