Out Look-Important Items Folder

Question

The Important folder was added to my Email Account. It is a real notice as after I delete items in my In Box I have to open the Important Folder and delete them again and then be careful not to delete items I want to keep. When I right click the Important folder the Delete Folder is grayed out.

Is this a Gmail account? You can turn off the important folder in Gmail settings - either completely or just in email. It's under labels at https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/labels

If its not a gmail account, What type of email account do you have configured in Outlook? POP, IMAP, Outlook.com, or Microsoft Exchange? Who is your email provider?

Yes I was able to remove the Important folder from Microsoft Outlook that is connected to my Google E Mail account. Many thanks as I was spending a lot of time deleting E mails twice. Ron
