SSRS can consume data from any supported SQL Server version and that is 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019.

See Data Sources Supported by Reporting Services (SSRS)

    Hello @Ava Tomlinson ,

    I agree with @Olaf Helper .

However, it is worth noting that the integration of SQL Server Reporting Services and SharePoint Server 2019 is no longer supported.

As far as I know, both SharePoint server 2016 and SharePoint server 2019 support SQL Server 2019. Then I suggest you better use SQL Server 2016 Reporting Services (SSRS) in SharePoint server 2016 and SharePoint server 2019.

For more information, please see "Overview of SQL Server in SharePoint Server 2016 and 2019 environments".

    Thanks,
    Echo Du
