Hotmail revalidation

I received an email from Hotmail admin stating that i need to validate my account to continue using it, everything I clicked on required me to sign in, but both my new password and my old password were rejected.

Your size limit for mailbox ****************@hotmail.com setup requires your immediate response. Our system has noticed that incoming mails are being rejected. IMAP/POP3/SMTP settings. This is a minor technical issue that requires you to just re-validate before the countdown process is complete. <br> ---

You might have been phished. Change your password immediately before the scammers lock you out. Enable 2 factor authentication if you haven't done it.
